§ 06.0 / How to read these tiers
Comparing us to another inspection app? Match the tier, not just the price.
Starter (£12/seat/mo annual) is what most other inspection vendors call their Premium/ mid tier — checklists, offline mode, QR tags, signatures, branded PDFs. We add tamper-evident certificates with a public verify URL that the others don't ship at any tier.
Professional (£32/seat/mo annual) is the bundle other vendors gate behind Enterprise— append-only audit log, public REST API, automation rules, AuditorPack verification, customer portal, opt-in AI. They'll quote you bespoke and ask for a 25-seat minimum. We'll let you sign up self-serve at one seat. Bring-your-own Entra SSO and Xero accounting sync sit on Enterprise.
If you compare our Professional price to their Premium tier, we'll look expensive. We're not — we're a tier higher in capability at a fraction of the equivalent Enterprise quote.
§ 06.1 / Contractor role
Working with contractors
Hovermarks has a built-in Contractor role — limited access to complete inspections, capture photos, and sign off work, with settings, billing, and user management locked down. Contractors count as ordinary team members against your plan's user limit. No separate per-seat fee, no bolt-on, no maths.
§ 06.2 / AI features
AI is opt-in per tenant, with a hard monthly cost cap.
AI features (photo quality gate, certificate text extraction, voice-to-text inspection notes) are available on Professional and Enterprise, off by default and opt-in per tenant. Once enabled, monthly Azure costs are capped per plan: Professional £20 · Enterprise £100. Approaching the cap shows a warning; exceeding it gracefully disables AI for the rest of the calendar month with no impact on core features.
